Welcome to Wing Shooters Hunt Club and Kennels, where we specialize in bird dog training near Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our team of experienced trainers is dedicated to turning your pup into the gun dog you've always wanted.
At Wing Shooters, we offer a variety of bird dog training programs to suit your needs and goals. Whether it's a seasoned hunter looking to improve specific skills or a newcomer to the sport, we have a program for you.
Our basic bird dog training program is designed for dogs that have little to no previous hunting experience. This program focuses on the fundamentals of bird hunting, including scent detection, pointing, and retrieving. We use a combination of field work and training drills to help your dog develop the skills needed to succeed in the field.
For more advanced dogs, we offer an intermediate training program that builds upon the skills learned in the basic program. This program includes additional field work and training drills to help your dog fine-tune their abilities and become a true hunting partner.
For those looking to take their bird dog training to the next level, we also offer a master class program. This program is designed for experienced bird dogs and their owners and focuses on refining advanced skills and techniques.
In addition to our training programs, we also offer boarding services at our state-of-the-art kennels. Our kennels are spacious and comfortable, providing your dog with a safe and secure place to stay while you're away. We also offer grooming services to keep your dog looking and feeling their best.
But don't just take our word for it – come and see for yourself! We invite you to visit our facility and watch a training session in action. You'll see firsthand the progress your dog can make with our expert trainers.
So why wait? Start your journey to a better hunting experience with Wing Shooters Hunt Club and Kennels. Contact us today to learn more about our bird dog training programs and to schedule a visit. We look forward to helping you and your dog reach your full potential in the field.

Upland Bird Hunting in Michigan
Michigan has a rich history in upland bird hunting. The grouse woods and fields of wild pheasants have provided excellent upland hunting opportunities for generations. While habitat loss and predation has taken a toll on many of the areas in Michigan, there are still great opportunities available. Southeast Michigan upland hunting has suffered greatly over the past 40 years. However, Charlie Linblade has managed to develop and maintain one of the best upland hunting and dog training experiences in the state, just north of Ann Arbor. Wing Shooters is far more than sorghum strips in the middle of a manicured field, it's habit is designed and maintained to be as natural, and wild, as the best habitat for wildlife, with a strong focus on upland birds.

Charlie Linblade's Gun Dog Training

Charlie's son, Chuck, is also an accomplished bird dog trainer. Chuck has 20+ years of gun dog training experience under the masterful tutilage of his dad. The two combined have over 60 years of dog training expertise you can count on to train your gun dog to his or her fullest potential. We are first and foremost hunting dog trainers.
